In an experimental participatory project, former Ursus employees are invited by a team of choreographers, musicians and filmmakers led by artist Jasmina Wójcik to recreate a typical day of work. On the plant's ruins, workers, engineers, managers and secretaries re-enact the movements their bodies never forgot, giving birth to a mind-blowing dance enriched by a soundtrack composed from the sounds of heavy machinery. Culminating in a magnificent tractor ballet that's like nothing you've ever seen, the symphony brings to life the almost-forgotten values of community, solidarity and dignity of labor. This collaborative art piece celebrates the contribution of working people and proposes a historical narrative that takes notice of their lives.       Filmography: -    Festivals and Awards: Dok Leipzig 2018 IFF Rotterdam 2019 Hotdocs 2019 Sheffield Dokfest 2019 Docs against Gravity 2019 DOC NYC 2019 RIDM 2019     ]]> International Competition40–70 Thu, 05 Dec 2019 12:21:01 GMT http://old.irandocfest.ir/en/news/6959/symphony-of-the-ursus-factory The Way Back http://old.irandocfest.ir/en/news/6958/the-way-back Director: Maxime Jennes, Dimitri Petrovic Screenplay: Maxime Jennes, Dimitri Petrovic Cinematography: Maxime Jennes  Editor: Mickael Ritter Producer: Les Meutes Distribution/sales: Les Meutes   Synopsis: In August 2015, Hussein Rassim arrives in Brussels.
